Manut Lao-on
Almost a decade, 100 Tonson Gallery continues to provide a vital platform for contemporary art in all its diversity. This year, we keep promoting talented contemporary Thai artists by introducing a newcomer painter, Manut Lao-on, Silpakorn University’s graduate, who we believe in his valuable skill for Thai art scene.
“Uncover” is his first solo exhibition revealing experiences and causalities of life. Buddhist principles are a core reflection in his works. He uses a picture of himself to represent one of human who try to attempt to understand Buddhist philosophy to solve the daily problems.
